Desktop Calendars

Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to share something that I've been doing for the last several months. It has quickly become a hobby for me as I enjoy doing these.

This is another new thing I've started delving into with my talents. I love to challenge myself with my psp'ing so there for the reason I took up this challenge when a friend of mine asked if I'd create her a custom desktop calendar with photos. At first I did not think I could do it, but I wasn't going to tell my friend that I couldn't, I told her that I'd never done it before, but I would definitely give it a try and to tell you the truth the first one I ever made I didn't think was very good, but she LOVED it. I've made 1 for her practically every month since the first 1. Each 1 I make, I get more and more creative with. Sometimes I look at other people's work for things and take little ideas for how to place things... but I've created the calendars all on my own, except for the materials I have used. I make these with scrap kits that I've downloaded from various creators. These calendars are not sold, I make them for my friend for free, simply because I have not made each piece of material on my own. It would not be fair in my eyes to sell something that has another person's creations in it. So it all stays FREE. Anyway, I thought I'd share my first 1 this week. To give an idea of what I have started creating.

Still dabbling

While dabbling around and playing with the swatches (you'll find in previous post) I decided to dabble a little more and try my hand at making some papers. They're VERY plain and probably boring to some, but I'm practicing and will hopefully continue to practice and get better at it! I just wanted to share what I've done! If you use any of my work, I hope you like it and find lots of uses for it. There's no need to give copyright credit on you work for these. ENJOY!

Dabbling a little

I decided a few months back that I wanted to try my hand at making my own digi scrap kits. So I went to a site to do some tutorials to learn. I dabbled a little bit and played around with the tutorial and the new feature I learned. So I thought I would share what I created! These are very plain not much creativity as I'm still learning. But as I learn more I will share more. :D

Our hearts have been playing that game ever since.

Every kid has their favorite hiding places. Mine were under my brother’s bunk bend, behind an old chair in the garage, and in the laundry basket (how I fit in there, I’ll never know).

A couple years ago, I lost my daughter at Disneyland.

We were in a large group: six adults and four children and we all stopped to look at a fountain.

But Hope, six years old at the time, kept walking. She didn’t intentionally wander off exerting defiance or trying to be naughty. She simply kept going in the same direction we’d all been walking a few minutes before.

But I didn’t know that.

None of us knew that.

We pause. Nine of us watch the fountain: all six adults and three children.
